Started Anti-Maleria Drugs

Today I started my medication of Mefloquine Hydrochloride. Sounds terrible I know. So far so good. I have to take one pill a week for the entire time I'm in Ghana and for four weeks when I get home. The Travel Doctor kept stating that taking these pills is far better than getting Maleria, so take them I shall. Finished up all my other shots yesterday and I'm happy to report that I've had no side effects.

The Big Day is Almost Here

I'll soon be off on my journey to Africa. I am so excited!!!!! All the planning, hoping and praying has bought me to this place. Lots of packing and saying goodbyes.
